Games and Music

As my last post, I thought about, how I make this "10 games" list.

I looked through my libary, and I saw games, I've played and enjoyed, some I barely scratched the surface and some I never touched.

So I decided, to mix them. Also I thought it would be funny, to pair them with an album, and also listen and write about it.

So further ado "The List":

  1. The Settlers II from BlueByte Studios
I'm clueless, what listen to with this game. If you have suggestions, tell me

  2. Caves of Qud from Freehold Games
Here I'm torn between Angine de Poitrines "Vol. II" or Devin Townsends "Ziltoid the Omniscient". Would both fit here

  3. Kingdoms and Castles from Lionshield
Satyricon "Dark Medieval Times" as contrast

  4. Pool of Radiance from SSI
Will go with "Nightfall in Middle-Earth" from Blind Guardian

  5. Breath of Fire IV from Capcom
As I only know, that's a JRPG, I will take Sigh "Infidel Art" for relating to Japan

  6. Devil Daggers from Sorath
Fast, quick and brutal. Slayer "Reign in Blood"

  7. Ion Fury from Voidpoint
After the game had to change it's name from Ion Maiden to Ion Fury because of a "Copyright Claim", I'll listen to "The Iron Maiden" Album, "Maiden Voyage", from 1969 as Soundtrack.
    Take that, Steve Harris!

  8. Cultist Simulator from Weather Factory
Coven or The Devil's Blood first albums would come into my mind

  9. Oh...Sir! The Insult Simulator from Vile Monarch
Well... Primus "Tales from the Punchbowl", as it's cartoony?

  10. Beneath a Steel Sky from Revolution Software
Cyberpunk needs Cyberpunk. I'll have to take a look, what would suit well here

It's a nice list, reaching from the late 80's to the late 2010's, with different game genres. With the music, I'll stick with Metal and Rock. But I'm open for suggestions.
I think the next post will about how I approach these things (and how i can add pics to the text)
